If your paypal’s status is “verified” meaning you’ve inputted a credit card or a debit card. Then the answer is yes, however if not. If your BDO ATM have “VISA” and expiry then you can use that ATM card to verify your paypal account. Then you can withdraw your funds to your BDO account.

Again, beware of other banks. I’m not yet sure because I haven’t tried BDO/paypal transfers but I’ve heard that they charge additional 200 pesos when transferring your funds.

That 200 is unexplainable by BDO…

I’ll try to make a concrete investigation about this and keep you all posted.

After that, it will tell me:
The amount you are trying to withdraw is greater than your withdrawal limit. Please link and confirm a debit or credit card to lift this limit.

For those who have problems with typing their 16 digit Card no. instead of their Actual 12 digit Acct. no. just go to paypal’s website and email them, I was delighted that they replied immediately, they helped me reverse the pending transaction & I was able to make the necessary changes. Here’s their response to my email

I hope you’re doing well today. I have immediately reversed the
withdrawal so you can still edit your credit card information. This is
to avoid a reversal fee just incase your withdrawal will be reversed due
to incorrect information. You may remove the credit card, and re-add the
correct information. Don’t worry I have included an easy-to-follow steps
how to do it.

Here’s how to remove a debit card or credit card:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click “Profile” near the top of the page.
3. Click “My money.”
4. Click “Update” beside “Debit and credit cards.”
5. Select the card you want to remove and click “Remove.”
6. Review the information and then click “Remove.”

After you remove the card, please enter the correct digits. The funds
are now available on your PayPal balance, just withdraw it once you have
entered the correct account information.

Hi there!I tried to link my EON card to paypal but for some reason I entered the wrong info for more than 3 times and eventually paypal disabled my card. I went trhrough this process =>overview =>get verified and so on……:( Paypal required me to send some documents and there’s no reply from paypal til now. It’s been 4 days. What should I do? what will happen if i input the 16-digit EON number instead of the 12- digit Account number when adding a bank account on Paypal? because thats what i did when i add a bank account on my paypal and withdrawn my paypal funds last April 6 2011. The transfer went successful on Paypal’s end but until now i havent got my money on my EON. what do i need to do to get it? should i add a bank account on paypal and repeat the whole process? but my balance is no longer appears on my account on paypal since it was already transferred to my bank account (with incorrect account number).

hi, dun ba sa pag add ng bank account number using EON, nklagay kc 1-16 digits dun sa field sa paypal under account number, pero dba 12 digits lng yung account number na nasa eon card sa ibaba ng name dba, ndi ba mgkakaproblem dun? Tsaka sa pag lagay ng bank name, full name ba ng bank is Union Bank of the Phils? kahit di ko na ilagay ung (UPB)? Thanks!

You can do that with a Dollar Account like BPI Dollar Account, BDO Dollar Account, etc. Same how I describe the setup here in my blog but using a dollar account. UnionBank's EON Debit Card is only for PHP Currency and will never receive funds of dollars. Here's the list of Bank Codes:

You can try BDO dollar savings (open account @ $200, $500 to interest) or BPI dollar account @ $500.

Now that you have mentioned it, I did withdraw the money on November 29 (Sunday) and the following day was a holiday (National Heroes Day, i think). Probably this might the reason. I suggest you go to a branch first, then ask them if you can call customer support from their office so you can get full assistance. Yes, I heard that too that they have bad customer support so I decided to go to a branch first. Then I think this speeds up their email response since I’m queued for password reset request.

Ironically, today is Friday and I don’t know if they have business hours tomorrow. I’m thinking to shift to BDO since BDO have banking hours in SM Malls.

If you had holidays the past few days, maybe this slows down your paypal to eon transaction.

I did have this long withdrawal when Pres. Macapagal Arroyo gave us looong holidays, I just don’t remember when was that… but it was this year

Indeed odd, I just withdrew a paypal fund from December 2, completed yesterday and now transferred to my eon account just now.

If nothing happened till Monday:

1. Go to a Union Bank Branch (most local branch can’t help you )

2. Call Union Bank via the following numbers:

* +632 84186 (24 hour customer support)
* 1800-1888-2277 (Domestic Toll Free) – impossible to get through
* IAC-800-8277-2273 (Universal Toll Free)

3. Send Unionbank an email

* electron@unionbankph.com

Try emailing them, I get a quick response just this morning. I went to the branch regarding the Transaction Password (TXN Password) Problem and the branch will gladly give you a way to call them for free if you in a provincial area.

If paypal says completed, its Okay! Unfortunately it might be at the end of Unionbank, this happens if you pick to withdraw during holidays (our holidays). If you to consider Unionbank PH being affected by holidays.

Please give us the good word if you manage to get your funds to your Unionbank.

Hi, I followed the instructions properly on how to link my EON cyber card to paypal and made sure that the information on both paypal and EON are the same. I have also followed the instructions on how to withdrew money ($200) from paypal to my bank account on Sunday (Nov. 29, 2009). The transaction status on paypal was completed but when I looked into my bank statement, the money has not been credited until now. Any advise whether I should panic now or just wait for several days to see whether my money will be credited to my account? Please help.

Just follow my guide here and you will be all set.

Then my theory was right, BDO savings atm will work out just fine then.

Thanks for keeping us updated. The deduction should just be the same, if you withdraw less than 7k then $1 will be deducted.

Maybe you were mentioning about bank fees (misc. deductions), in the long run you can add an eon cyber card to withdraw to card if you want deductions like mine.

The atm card works just like a regular credit card (with visa logo, expiry and cvc) except that any amount will be automatically deducted from my account everytime i use it. So if i want to enrol my account in paypal for bank withdrawal, do i need to enter the atm card number (16 digits) or the savings account number? Many thanks

If your unionbank atm savings card have mastercard, visa or american express…

If your unionbank atm savings card have the 3-digit code (this can be alphanumeric, my wife’s BDO savings atm card have letter in it e.g. B07)

If your unionbank atm savings card have expiry date at the back of the card.

Yes, the only difference is that you don’t have to pay $5 bucks if you use withdraw to bank and that’s one of the main points of this post.
